Urgent requirement: fusing press operator (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Haralson County, Georgia. The job is at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
