Lawn care technician • Coosa County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Coosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a private estate garden. Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads You should have: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
