Tailor machinist — Emmet County

Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Emmet County, Michigan. On a typical shift you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time with occasional weekends.
