Gtaw welder wanted in Ray County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Ray County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
