Reinforcement steel fixer — Person County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Person County, North Carolina. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour Full-time, day shift.
