The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Meals and transport allowance provided.
