Immediate opening: production machine operator (Connecticut)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production machine operator in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is in a textile mill. What we are looking for: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery On the job you will handle: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
