Thermal insulation technician — Bienville Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. You will work on flat roofs and terraces. Day to day you will measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Six days a week, one day off.
