Stainless steel welder — Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Putnam County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
