Stainless steel welder • Grant Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Grant Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 2+ years on the tools preferred.
