Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Marion County, Alabama. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE Part-time with flexible hours.
