Panel technician — Isle of Wight County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel technician in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You will be based at a commercial fleet workshop. On the job you will handle: • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
