Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Sussex County, Delaware. You will be based at a double glazing firm. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter On the job you will handle: • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size Full-time with occasional weekends.
