Urgent requirement: banksman (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Putnam County, Georgia. You will work on a high-rise building site. Your main tasks: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 4+ years on the tools preferred.
