Now hiring: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Guthrie County, Iowa. You will be based on a residential construction site. You will spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts.
