Steel erection rigger wanted in Coke County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Coke County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
