Lifting rigger • Montgomery County, Iowa

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Montgomery County, Iowa. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
