Great opportunity: we are hiring a joiner in Richland County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On the job you will handle: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $260 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
