Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day On a typical shift you will wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days.
