Hydraulic press operator — Western Connecticut Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
