You should have: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns The role involves: • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
