Crane rigger wanted in Bates County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Bates County, Missouri. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
