Join our team: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Cherokee County, Alabama. The job is in a factory paint shop. What we are looking for: • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage • Own brushes and basic hand tools The role involves: • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
