Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Towns County, Georgia. The job is on the CNC turning shop floor. Your main tasks: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
