Great opportunity: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Williams County, Ohio. You will work at a busy body shop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes The role involves: • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
