Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Lafia

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Lafia, Nasarawa State. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Six days a week, one day off.
