Join our team: we are hiring a lift erector in Union County, South Dakota. You will work on a lift modernisation project. On the job you will handle: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
