Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Part-time with flexible hours.
