Gas appliance installer — Saratoga County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Saratoga County, New York. On the job you will handle: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
