Meat cutter wanted in Dundy County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Dundy County, Nebraska. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Meals and transport allowance provided.
