Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lyon County, Iowa. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal.
