Renovation plasterer — Merthyr Tydfil County Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a renovation plasterer in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. You will work at a new-build housing development. What we are looking for: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work On the job you will handle: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
