Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Shenandoah County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Shenandoah County, Virginia. You will be based in a demolition and site-clearance yard. The role involves backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence 4+ years on the tools preferred.
