Concrete placer — Lowndes County

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete placer in Lowndes County, Mississippi. You will compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Part-time with flexible hours.
