Concrete shuttering carpenter • Obion County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Obion County, Tennessee. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb Rotating shifts.
