Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Potiskum, Yobe State. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 1+ years on the tools preferred. ₦130,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
