Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Pickett County, Tennessee. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
