Site carpenter wanted in Newton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Newton County, Texas. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Your main tasks: • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet Requirements: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Own basic hand tools 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
