Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
