Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Derbyshire, England. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,800 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
