We are recruiting: we are hiring a press shop operator in DeKalb County, Indiana. The job is in a sheet metal stamping unit. The role involves load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
