GMAW welder • Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. The job is at a busy production line. Day to day you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
