Concrete finisher — Abua/Odual

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Abua/Odual, Rivers State. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
