Steel fixing chargehand • Dala, Kano State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Dala, Kano State. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
