Shuttering and concrete hand — Onitsha South

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Onitsha South, Anambra State. Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Full-time with occasional weekends.
