Reinforcement steel fixer — Maiha

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Maiha, Adamawa State. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
