Sheet metal welder wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Franklin County, New York. The job is on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
