PVC window fabricator wanted in City and Borough of Leeds

Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in City and Borough of Leeds, England. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. The role involves: • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter You should have: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
