Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Prince George's County, Maryland. You will work in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 3+ years on the tools preferred.
