You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On the job you will handle: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift 2+ years on the tools preferred.
